Fear

The song Whom Shall I Fear by Chris Tomlin greatly shows the power of having God with us in life.

Many people in this world spend their lives surrounded by fear. Fear of making a wrong decision, fear of not meeting rent, fear of being considered an outsider or different, and so on. Fear holds us back in life and stops us from becoming who we are supposed to be. I know these examples are a bit extreme but what would Jackie Robinson and MLK have been if they lived their lives in fear? I’m not exactly sure, but I do know that they would not have made the positive impact they did in their lives because fear would have stopped them.

There are a few ways in which we can get over fears so that we can have the most optimal impact in life. One of which is using family and friends/ motivational videos, etc. as a way to be encouraged and emboldened. The best way to live life with very minimal fear is to accept God into our hearts and to have him lead us where he may. When we have full trust in God, it alleviates many of the fears of life and fears that are still present are easier to overcome. In Deuteronomy 5:5 it is said, “Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.” Always keep that verse in mind, we are not alone and we can use the strength of God to overcome any fears or challenges in life.
